Class Title: Intro to Photography ( 5th-8th grade)
Dates: Starts: Tuesdays: June 23rd ( no class week of July 4th)
1 hour 15min of instruction per week
Each class will be outdoors at specific locations
Intro to Photography-Students will receive instruction on the history of photography, camera basics and taught the elements of art in order to compose a strong and creative photo. This class will begin with automatic settings for shooting and introduce concepts of composition, aperture, shutter speed . The class will be interactive and hands on.
A course syllabus will be emailed on the first week of class. Sessions will take place at various outdoor locations.
Digital camera (while in class) and notebook pages included.
4 students min for class to open/8 max per class.
$160 per month (8 weeks of instruction)
*online learning option available for summer classes: Meets via Zoom for 40minutes and hands on for 35 minutes outside class.

Class Title : Photography II (10th-12th grade)
Dates: Tuesday :September 8th No class - 11/24 , 12/22 and 12/29
Each class will be outdoors at specific locations
1 hour 15min of instruction per week
Photography II- Students will receive further instruction and practice on aperture, shutter speed, depth of field, composition, lenses through projects and an independent themed assignment project. Students will work in Lightroom/Adobe Photoshop programs to develop their editing techniques in class. A course syllabus will be emailed on the first day of class. This class also includes camera (while in class) use to build a portfolio of work. Laptop and Adobe Creative Cloud (student version) required for class.
4 min students to open class, 8 max per class.
Class will be a combination of in person and online via zoom.
